ArtWork was founded on the first day of 2006.
Although a very young company, it's CEO, Renato Veras, aka treetog, is a veteran skinner, being one of the most prolific skinners and widely known amongst the global skinning community.
Starting out making skins back in 1999, he soon diversified into skin-making for dozens of different applications, and today has a portfolio of over 600 skins.
October 2001 saw him co-found Pixtudio, where he designed a great quantity of GUIs [Graphic User Interfaces], Custom Icons, Websites and of course, skins, staying there until the end of 2005.
During his career, he has earned many different skinning awards, but the most significant ones were, 3rd place overall individual in the first GUI 'Olympics' Contest 2002, and 1st Place overall individual and as a team in the second GUI 'Olympics' Contest in 2004.
Throughout the whole 6 years or so that I've known him, Renato has not just been a skinner of consistent high standard but also a person of consistent high standard, and a valued friend....from the first day at skinz.org when we first crossed paths to today when I offered to pen this introduction.
